The look on Aureliano’s face was enough to cause Spadino’s heart to drop into his stomach, those blue eyes wide and wild, mixed with anger and something else Spadino couldn’t place. He didn’t know what to say. He fucked up. Shit, he fucked up. He just ruined something so good between them just because he couldn’t reign his fucking neck and his feelings in. Of course Aureliano wouldn’t feel the same way about him. Of course he wasn’t in fucking love with him like Spadino was with him. Because Aureliano wasn’t a fag, was he?
It was silent for a few moments between them, nothing said or heard except the music still blasting from Spadino’s car.
“I was playing.” He tried, eventually, mentally kicking himself for hearing the tremble in his voice.
Aureliano stared at him some more, a look on his face that Spadino couldn’t quite defer.
“What game is that?” He asked.

Summary
The first couple of dollars that the machine ate up without remorse were an annoyance, something that made Dennis sigh and unzip his wallet without thinking about it to try again. By the time that the vending machine had eaten seven whole dollars, in coins, and Dennis didn’t have anything to show for it, he was close to thumping his forehead against the cool glass and hoping he could derive some sort of enjoyment or nourishment from simply just looking at the colourful packages as they remained firmly in their coils.
He didn’t often carry coins. Those were his last few dollars and he was woefully aware that somebody had offhandedly mentioned that the staffroom vending machine destroyed notes, so he wasn’t going to be getting a soda, a bag of chips or anything else that might settle his belly from the incessant grumbling it was doing.

Dennis lets out a chuckle. “Well, when the time comes, I will refer him to the best surgeon out here if we meet again. Hopefully he can get the keyhole surgery.”
“Periareolar? Not double incision?”
“Yeah, kid doesn’t like scars.”
“You had that too?”
“Yeah, but mine was because I wanted to preserve nipple sensitivity, not because I didn’t want scarring.”
It takes a beat and the lack of response from Robby to realize what he actually said.
Dennis accidentally talks about his nipples in front his attending and instead of getting sent to HR for sexual harassment training, he ends up with an invitation to a dinner date. With said attending. Santos is trying her best to understand the absurd relationship between her boss and her roommate. Everyone else in The Pitt is betting on it.
