"i know." guanlin manages to smile back, but his heart hurts at the idea of waking up everyday and not being able to have breakfast with elkie and walk to school with soyeon. he doesn't know what it's like not to live with them, not to have them right there.
but on friday they will leave, and guanlin will miss them dreadfully.

he breathes in deep and tries not to think of the one million hallways and five million classrooms waiting for him, tries not to think of all the ways in which this could possibly go wrong.
okay, so, the building is big, he thinks, but the world is bigger, and he will have to face that someday, too.
he is ready for this.

"it's my break." hoseok shrugs, "anyway- the other day, you did say, i quote, 'i hate it when hot people are assholes'."

jungkook works at h&m and is obsessed with colour-coordinated displays and neat stacks of clothes, while yoongi- a.k.a. 'the stack-destroyer'- is that one customer who always manages to mess up nearly every display, every single time he comes.

Yoongi doesn't even hesitate, "We'll go wherever you want, baby."

Summary
Max is a little tired of being the youngest of the group- especially since the rest of them are teenagers. Being the youngest did have some plus points, and he certainely had fun and learnt a lot from them.
But he was absolutely done with being treated like a child. He could be just as grown-up as they were.
Cue Max Maple's own personal operation, a plan that would surely get the seven of his friends to look at him as though he was their age, too- Operation Teenage Talk.
And then, on the other hand:
The rest of the group gathered in Ash's room one evening for 'an extremely serious meeting.'
"My brother is acting strange." May said flatly, "It's freaking me out."
"He's acting like..." Brock's brow furrowed, "Well, like a hormonal, slightly angsty teenager."
"Um." Ash gave Brock and odd look, "Max is ten."
"Yeah, well, that would be the problem."

Summary
She was a cute little thing, with a halo of blond curls, and a pair of wide blue eyes that were wide with fear.
"How old are you?" Ash asked gently, and the girl held up her hands to show six fingers.
"Are you lost?" Ash prodded, "The PokeMedical Convention is pretty huge. It's really crowded. Are you with your Mom?"
The girl nodded.
"Great! We can help you find her." he turned to his friends, "Right?"
They all nodded enthusiastically, but the little girl's eyes widened even more and she let out a panicked shriek, "No! Please! You don't understand- I'm trying to run away!"
The group drew back in shock, not expecting such a response from the young girl. Ash eyes softened when he saw the frightened, yet stubborn expression on her face. He sat down next to her.
"I tried to run away once, too, when I was younger." he said, "But let me tell you, in the end, somehow, you'll always find your way home."
OR
The groups bump into a young girl at the PokeMedical Convention.
Cue the backstories. And, of course, cue the Operation.

"A plus-one?" Brock repeated, blinking at the invitation, "I have to bring a plus-one to the event?"
"Seeing as you're the only 'formally invited' one out of all of us, I would say yes." May checked the paper, " See? It says right here: All formally invited guests must bring a plus-one to the event."
"But how am I supposed to get a plus-one?"
"Guys- can someone please tell me what a plus-one is?" Max cut in impatiently.
"Um. It's basically a date." Gary said, half-amused and half-incredulous, "Brock needs to somehow find himself a date."
Max's eyes nearly popped out of his head, "Brock needs to get a date? Whoa. How's he gonna manage that one?"
Of course, in the end, the group did the only logical thing they could think of:They created an Operation
