Summary
Chase has dissociative identity disorder. Henrik, his lifelong friend, lives with him and acts as his caretaker. A life of repressed childhood trauma, drinking problems and relationship issues means he has a few familiar faces (well, familiar to you and I) in his headspace.
Jameson Jackson, the mute introject of a silent film actor he watched in film school. Anti, the inhuman shadow who can't decide if he's a persecutor or a protector. Jackie, the earliest protector stemmed from the host's childhood love of comics. And Marvin, the slightly overdramatic self care provider.
This is mostly a comfort fic based on my own experience with DID. I hope yall enjoy <3
edit: I just wanted to say that I'm aware of the weird stigma of making stacy abusive and chase completely innocent, and this wasn't my intention when writing. Pretty much everything here is based on my own experience, and Stacy is a stand-in for my own past relationship.

Summary
Centuries ago, the Doom Kingdom was cursed by the god Solaris, condemning its inhabitants to an eternity of twilight and despair as punishment for their insatiable bloodlust. In order to keep their people from dying of famine, their leader declared war on the surrounding kingdoms, raiding their territories for food and medicine -- an act that only further pushed them away from any chance at salvation.
Now, after Black Doom's mysterious death, his son, Shadow, was crowned king. With seemingly no end to the death and destruction in sight, Sonic, disguised as a humble jester, is sent to infiltrate the Doom Kingdom and assassinate their ruler, putting an end to the war for good.
