Horror wasn’t holding the steering wheel anymore, hands both shoved into his pockets, and leaning back in the seat. He didn’t even answer at first, frown growing at the incessant giggling from the other that followed. “Polyester.” He corrected.
Dust actually prayed one of their skulls would explode.

“I was supposed to see it with someone.”, Horror offhandedly mentioned about a week later, while he was busy pouring Dust a cup of coffee. “The sun.. thing.”
“Sunset?” Killer offered, albeit awkwardly.
“Yeah..” He set Dust’s cup aside so he could snag it with blue magic, taking out a pan to start breakfast. “Someone never.. Showed.. Though.” He explained.
“But nobody came.” Dust muttered.
“Nobody came.” Horror echoed.

After the fight in Deika city, Himiko and Dabi have a solid week in the hospital before they show up on the stage, presenting themselves as the new PLF.
It is not the most dignified of weeks.

The stare-off continues while Himiko muses on how long it’s been since she actually got to participate in one. Maybe back in middle school? With her little brother? And she's delighted to see that Dabi caves first, almost literally, as he slumps back into his pillows, hair poofing out in an unholy mess around his disgruntled face.
“Yes, it hurts,” he admits. “Feels like someone poured lava under my skin. Ain’t great. Kinda like having your veins popped all up inside you.” The last bit is said sarcastically, and Himiko grins.
“At least it’s all where it’s supposed to be. Not like that guy at the camp — you know the one? Who smushed your clone? He could use his blood outside his body.”
“Gross,” Dabi says succinctly. “Imagine all the dirt he’s gotta filter out. Bet his kidneys would make a killing on the black market.”

Summary
Oftentimes the doctor would be thrown into his own delusions, watching as everyone he loved died. It became harder for him to calm himself, because reminding yourself that a tragedy is fictitious because you were actually stuck in an infinitely dark void isn’t the healthiest for your mental state.
It was on ‘days’ like these the doctor stared mindlessly into the nonexistent walls of his prison, often forgetting his own name.

Dadster comes back from the void, but he has mental issues and is clingy. Sans is trying to both cope and help his dad cope.
