Summary
Tooru approaches the new fantasy volleyball league that he and Hinata joined the same way he approached high school volleyball: He wants to win, but if he can do it /and/ be petty at the same time, why not?

Summary
It was beautiful; it felt like a goodbye.
Jet looked at his skin in the mirror, newly healed after a week of greasy antibiotic ointment and stupid, Zuko-like cardigans to cover up the wet patch on his shirts after cleaning it at his day job. Even broken up, even when doing something Jet wanted, the man was able to be a pain in the ass.
(Zuko had, as expected, outdone himself with the tattoo.)
****
Five tattoos that Zuko gives Jet and one that he doesn't.

Summary
All Oikawa has ever wanted is to be one of Tokyo's top heroes. Unfortunately, he's always been at a disadvantage. He isn't super strong or super fast, he can't fly, and he doesn't have flashy, crowd-pleasing powers like some of his peers. Still, he does the best he can with what he has, and he thinks he's doing just fine.
His agent disagrees.
Oikawa gets roped into a working contract with one of the top five heroes in Tokyo; which, in theory, would be a good way for him to gain popularity.
The problem is the hero he gets stuck with; Valor, aka Ushijima Wakatoshi.
Oikawa already dislikes him on general principle, and meeting him only makes things worse. Oikawa wants nothing more than to work his way through this new contract and get on with his life. He doesn't need Ushijima, of all people, to help him climb the hero ranks. He can do just fine on his own.
Except, as their contract wears on, Oikawa begins to realize that becoming popular isn't what matters most. It isn't about fame, and it isn't about gaining fans. Hero work is about something much more important, and as he spends more time with Ushijima, he learns what being a hero is truly about.

Summary
Oikawa never liked Ushijima.
At least, until he accidentally started sleeping with him.
Oikawa convinces himself that the sex isn't a problem. It's just a night here and there with no strings attached. They don't even have to like each other.
But the more time they spend together, the more Oikawa realizes it's impossible to hate someone like Ushijima.
(This is a oneshot that goes along with Blacktop Rivalries, but it can be read separately, too!)

Summary
Oikawa expects that his time in prison won't be the best two years of his life. What he doesn't expect is an antisocial cellblock, a half-crazed redhead who insists on befriending him, and the wildcard boss of Block Three who builds a grudge against him on day one. Worst of all is the menacing Iwaizumi Hajime, to whom Oikawa becomes an unwilling cellmate. Iwaizumi is coarse, unpleasant, and makes it quite clear that he wants nothing to do with Oikawa.
At first, anyway.
Within the first few months of his stay, Oikawa gets caught up in a war between cellblocks, becomes a prime target, and must decide just how far he's willing to go to protect Iwaizumi Hajime.
