Summary
(Due to the layered nature in which I write, I have decided against taking down or editing my previous version of this and I am starting afresh.)
Imagine if there was a Princess and the Frog arc in place of the Frozen arc. Instead of an ice queen, the urn holds a dragon. Something's afoot in the rift - for starters, it exists now. As Facilier strikes, alien anomalies multiply, mysteries abound, and Rumpelstiltskin plots, a young demoness who knows more than she's letting on takes a keen interest in protecting our heroes. Things are getting a bit topsy-turvy in these parts. Welcome to Storybrooke - and welcome too to Cardiff, while we're at it. -

Summary
Show divergence point: Emma and Killian just got back from the time travel adventure, Regina is pissed because Marian is here, Emma has decided to stay in Storybrooke, Neal’s introduction day ended. Henry is staying the night with his grandparents. Let’s say it’s the middle of the night.
17 years of age is often eventful if you're an OUAT character. Almost as eventful as turning 28. (Or 24. Or 26. Or 10). Thus, the inspiration for the title. The other inspirations were beautiful "racebent" Disney fan art, an MLIS degree, and a driving notion of "dear showrunners: I would not have written it quite that way."
You will need to know: Once Upon a Time + Disney, with a robust suspension of disbelief to deal with the Doctor Who universe, Merlin, and children's books. You leave the rest to me.
Temporary note: I am going through and taking out some typos and seeing if I can tighten up the plot a bit, so if you are going through a re-read of this you might find little differences from Chapter 7 onward -

Summary
Ever wonder why Nancy and the Boys never age (besides the fact they've had approximately ten spin-offs and reboots by now)? Why a small town described as "an hour from New York City" or "a suburb of Chicago" could go completely unnoticed by tourists? Or why all the main detective characters seem to be skilled in pretty much every sport and craft under the sun? And why, for the love of all that is good and fandom, this series keeps having so many variations with so little continuity?
Well, this is one possible explanation...
Connected to this somewhat but not a required read: Edge of Seventeen, an ongoing OUAT fan fiction of mine. You do not need to know OUAT well to read "Mysteries Just Find Me"

Summary
Fenton disappeared and is presumed dead while on a case in Chicago, leaving Frank and Joe to the mercy of the foster care system. Assigned to separate foster homes, the boys try to prove that their father is alive so they can fix their family and return to Bayport.
Meanwhile, Nancy Drew has become suspicious of the two new students at her school. The story they tell doesn't make sense, and with the rash of petty crime affecting the school, Bess' new neighbor is on the top of her suspect list, along with his secretive older brother.

Summary
Most of the time, Team Torchwood are remarkably intelligent. The rest of the time, one of them gets poisoned by alien venom, spreads it around the others, and they end up relying on Owen to cure them all. Which, admittedly, is his job, but it's still hard to be treated by a doctor so keen on reminding you of your own stupidity.

Summary
The team come into work one day and discover that Jack has left, with only a mysterious tear stained note left behind to explain why that gives them more questions than answers. Can they find out what happened or have they lost their captain forever? I suggest that if you like Owen you don't read this, but if you like Ianto punching people and looking after Jack you'll love it!
