Post 6A, no mention of werewolves.
Much to Liam's concern, Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Malia have graduated, meaning this is probably the last summer they will spend together. Therefore, Lydia had decided to make the most of their time by inviting them all to her house. For a whole month. This wouldn't have been much of a problem if Liam hadn't been dealing with liking Scott and with his abandonment issues. Thus far, it merely felt like they were dragging out the inevitable, painted by long summer nights. An inevitable Liam didn't want to face.
At the bottom of the staircase, he turned. His breath was coming out in quick puffs and his vision was still a little blurred. Mason closed the living room door behind him and stepped towards his friend, examining him with a small smile. A silence was shared between them, one that apparently said everything, because Mason broke it by saying,
“It’s not going to be any easier if you push him away, you know.”
Liam pursed his lips into a thin line. He showed a faint shrug, not really knowing what to say to that.
Mason stepped closer and laid a hand on his shoulder.

Scott meets Liam for the first time on the Lacrosse field. Something sparkles between them and Scott instantly finds himself interested. It takes a whole month before he sees Liam again and his feelings for the boy are slowly starting to develop.

Summary
There's not much Scott knows about the new kid, Liam Dunbar, only that he's an awesome lacrosse player, who might take Scott's title of team captain someday. Because of that, Scott knows he should feel threatened, but he doesn't. Not when he catches a weird mark on Liam's arm and finds out he's lying about how he got it. Being the caring the guy he is, Scott starts an investigation; oblivious to the emotional roller coaster he's about to step into...
Luckily, there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

At this point, Sam’s scanning the coffeeshop for an exit strategy from this terrible date; maybe he can trip a customer into spilling coffee on one of them, or pretend like he’s seen a friend, something, anything. His eye lands on the white guy sitting at the table behind Mike, directly in Sam’s line of sight, but not visible to Mike himself. And okay, hello, stranger. He’s gorgeous, and he’s looking up from the stack of papers on his table, right at Sam. Hot Stranger’s thick-lashed blue eyes are wide, and a pen is dangling from his fingers as if the nonsense happening at Sam’s table has shocked him into interrupting his work.
What the fuck, mouths Hot Stranger.
Sam's on a first date that starts weird and only gets weirder. Thankfully, there's a hot bystander who's ready to be a hero and save Sam from the horrors of app-based dating.
