Summary
Ghost has always been a tough individual, surviving shit that would have killed anybody else. He's always just counted himself lucky. But what happens when he has a direct encounter with Death that flips his whole world upside down?
How will he handle his newfound immortality? How will he manage to hide something so overwhelming from his team? From Soap?

Summary
They sit there on the ground for a moment, taking deep breaths, lungs feeling larger than they're used to. And after a moment, they're calm enough to start analyzing what's happening.
"Simon... Are we... Are you... me?" They ask, receiving a "Yeah, Johnny, I think so."
It's that confirmation that makes them really stop and put things together. They're one mind? No, that feels a bit off.
They can feel the presence of the other in their mind, separate but together with one another. The "conversations" they have in their mind are short, able to already feel what the other is about to think before they posit their responses. They can feel the confusion and nervous energy coming from one another before eventually resignation washes over them in one, smooth, fluid wave. Like water gently lapping at the bank of a small lake.
They—he. He spends the better part of a week getting used to their—his new body. He's larger than Simon was, not by too much, but it's enough to get Soap's subconscious nervous and confused by the way he moves now.
OR
Ghost and Soap get fused into one being after getting captured during an OP gone wrong.
