“I don’t think that I can let this one go Hinawa, something is wrong.” He was staring at the phone dejectedly, and sighed. “I know I’m not going to be able to relax until I know what’s up with him.” He spoke slowly as he still wasn’t sure of exactly how he wanted to handle this. “I mean, did you hear him, Hinawa?”
“I did.” He had said simply, entirely unsure of how to proceed either.
“...and..” Obi prodded, looking up from the phone to gage his response. He needed a second opinion, and he was asking Hinawa to tell him whether he was taking his concern too far. Hinawa considered his words for a moment, and in a rare sign of stress he removes his glasses and massages the bridge of his nose.
“I agree, we can’t let this one stew too long. He didn’t just seem tired, or even frustrated like I might expect,”. Hinawa placed his glasses in their spot on his nose as he searched for the right words for a moment. “He seemed entirely detached, absent even. You should talk to him.”
OR
Shinra is hiding something from the 8th, and Captain Obi is going to worry until he finds out what it is.

Summary

All good things come to an end eventually... they made a promise to meet again in three years' time... but when they reunite again, will they still treat Haruka the same?

And when Umemiya found out that class 1-1 was made entirely of alphas with exactly one omega added to the mix, his smile twitched. He patted Hiiragi’s shoulder in sympathy and said, to quote, “Well, good luck!”
Thankfully, for the sake of Hiiragi’s stomach health, it ended up being a bit of a non-issue. Nirei, ever the ball of nervous energy, was often mistaken for a beta, or even an omega, until people got close enough to catch his scent. Tsugeura put all his energy more toward his virtues than the biggest dick in the room. Kiryu found many of the stereotypically alpha attitudes toxic and outdated, and didn’t shy away from saying so. Even Sugishita, who was easily provoked, had no problem putting aside his grudges when push came to shove. Suo was the quiet kind of alpha, steady and solid instead of confrontational.
And Sakura? Despite what a lot of people assumed, he wasn’t an alpha at all.

Summary
Sakura moved to Makochi for a fresh start. All he wanted was to lay low and avoid the disgust and hatred he'd felt from people in his old town. He certainly didn't intend to make friends, find an alpha, or join a pack. Life has a funny way of laughing at his plans though. An unexpected heat and one bloodied, unconscious alpha later, Sakura is rescued by some unlikely characters before being brought to Furin.
I just wanted an excuse to write Sakura being loved on by everyone at Furin while he blushes and yells about it.
Edit 7/21/25 Two for one alpha combo, now with more Togame! Turns out I love him too much to leave him as a rival. Sakura gets to keep both his alphas (eventually).
