Summary
All Aegon’s ever wanted was to be able to live a life of his own choosing. One that required no throne, no responsibilities, and no grandsire, to merely enjoy the simple pleasures of life. The only way he’d get that was if his sister sat on the throne. When his sister and her family returned to court, Aegon wasn't expecting to be so drawn towards Jace. He couldn't keep his eyes off of him.
And Jace, well, Jace just wished his uncle would try to take care of himself a little better.
Or, trying to prevent a civil war, Aegon slowly integrates himself into team black and falls in love.

Rhaenyra needed children, and Laenor said she had to look elsewhere. For a man loyal to her and her only, one without selfish ambition. Ser Harwin caught her attention immediately. He was strong and dutiful, with a gentle soul and kind heart, never afraid to speak his mind. He had a wildness to him that drew her in. She never expected him to agree, and she thought there's would only be a duty to uphold.
She was wrong.
Or, children of Valyrian and First Men descent are born with dark hair that turns silver. It somehow makes nothing easier

Father said when the blood of the First Men and Old Valyria came together, it created someone blessed like Princess Rhaenys. Born with Baratheon umber locks that turned silver on her fifth name day. The faith had many theories on why such a thing occurred, but what could be confirmed was that it was a sign of legitimacy, of the magic between the two bloodlines.
Jace assumed that his hair would one day turn white, with Luke following after him. For as long as he could remember, Jace has been waiting for the day his hair would turn silver.
But it never happened, and with that, the rumors came.
Or, what if the First Men and Valyrians shared a common ancestor, and the magic in their blood made it so when a Valyrian had a child with those of First Men descent, they were born with dark hair which eventually turned white?

Peter needed mentoring and a lot of it. Tony decided that he was going to have to step into his role and become said mentor. He thought it was going to be pretty easy. But as it turns out, looking after a spiderchild seems to be way harder than anticipated. Especially when the kid is always finding the most ridiculous situations and throwing himself headfirst into them.
So Tony was going to be that figure for him. Whether that meant mentor, cool uncle, older brother, or father, he was going to be there. Preferably not father, though.

Humans can go weeks without food. As long as they have access to water, some can even last months without biting into a hamburger or tasting the sweetness of strawberry jam on a biscuit hot out of the oven. There are drawbacks, of course, to skipping meals. Dizziness, fainting, weight loss too quick for the body to adapt to.
It’s Astarion's first table of the day. The dull, slow thump of his heartbeat rushes past his ears. His knees buckle with every step. He’s falling apart, he knows this, but with ten cents in the bank and another few days to wait until his paycheck comes in, all Astarion can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other and hope he doesn’t collapse. There’s no time to think about the metaphorical hand tightening around his stomach and throat.

Well, in all likelihood, there were quite a few problems with Astarion.
He was abrasive and flippant and self-serving, and Gale was in no doubt that his quick fingers were skimming at least a little out of whatever chests Tav had him picking.
Oh, and there was the fact that he was a vampire. Yes, there was that little detail.
Or, Astarion getting outed by the shadow-cursed lands.
