Summary
They collided in a tight embrace, clinging to each other as if the centuries of separation and longing had condensed into this single, desperate moment. Hua Cheng’s hands pressed against Xie Lian’s back, holding him impossibly close, as though letting go would undo the very fabric of the world.
Xie Lian collided with Hua Cheng with all his strength. If it weren't for Hua Cheng's own strength and balance, they would both have fallen to the ground. But Xie Lian knew Hua Cheng would hold him tightly, never letting him fall. Colliding in that embrace felt as if his soul had finally returned to where it belonged. Hua Cheng's arms wrapped tightly around him, pressing him to his chest as if he feared that if he let go, he would lose him again. In that moment, nothing else mattered, but the one in his arms.
