Three months after his existence was erased, Peter Parker was not doing so well. His solace came from knowing that at the very least he had managed to save his city in the end.
Apparently, though, Peter realized as Doctor Strange explained to him that he had to give up even more, losing everything-and-then-some just wasn't enough.
OR
The multiverse continues to collapse in on itself. Doctor Strange discovers the source of the problem as Peter Parker. The only viable solution is to remove Peter from his original universe so that no more entities will be drawn to his presence there.
Peter is sent to a world that lost its Peter Parker, and finds himself lost in a sea of people he'd grieved who had all grieved him in kind.

Summary
Over the weekend, Tony finally gets the go-ahead to call the Avengers back to the USA as free, innocent citizens.
The Rogues return to the Tower™ expecting Tony to be miserable and alone - or, at least, with only Pepper and Rhodey around - and are shocked to find a small spidery child running around on the ceilings like a fiend.
Peter slinks down from the ceiling when eventually, finally, Tony pries him away to force him to go to school.
Obviously, Flash doesn't believe a word Peter says about his internships.
Neither does Mr Warren, but Peter never really liked him anyway, so it doesn't matter too much.
But then Mr Harrington announces a field trip, and where else could it be to than the Avengers Tower?

Peter Parker had lost everything. His entire existence had been forgotten by the whole world, but most importantly- the people he loved. He had even lost his powers afterward due to the pressure of his mental anguish. Peter felt as though he had nothing to live for. However, though he was surrounded by darkness, Peter managed to find enough light to live.
At age 23, Peter Parker had been hired at Midtown High School as a chemistry teacher and was financially stable enough to afford a small home in a good neighbourhood. Things weren't perfect but he was content with the progress that he made. That was until the people of the past returned to challenge his new life. Ned was a teacher at Midtown High School, MJ was his next door neighbour, Morgan Stark was his student and Tony Stark returned from the dead.
Peter hoped to avoid them all for the sake of his fragile heart, but the Multiverse wasn't finished with him yet, which forces him to protect the people he loved with his newly regained powers. His world needed both the arrival of Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
