Summary
Virgil is living with the Light Sides now, which is great. He really does like it there, he likes being around them. But... he doesn't like having to sleep in his room every night, riddled with terrifying nightmares, in order to keep his secret hidden. It wasn't necessarily a bad secret. Not really... But he didn't have any idea how to tell them, and now it was just too late to tell them without making it awkward. And he couldn't get a full night's rest now for fear of them seeing him in Deep Sleep. Deep Sleep didn't ever hurt anyone, but he wasn't sure if, since they probably assumed he slept like any of them do, if seeing him in Deep Sleep for the first time would scare them. Or worse, make them afraid of him.
You see, when Virgil went into Deep Sleep, his body reacted to the state in many ways. The most obvious way was that his entire body glows like a thousand light bulbs have settled under his skin, sending the entire room he was in at the time in a bright purple light. And that wasn't all...
He's doing fine. He hasn't slept properly for almost two months, but hey! They hadn't seen his Deep Sleep and he hasn't started causing them any problems. So it's fine... right? He didn't need sleep, anyway. He's fine. -

Summary
Each of the dark sides is connected to an animal. They have physical and mental attributes of all types from their animal. Remus is a raccoon. Janus is a python. And Virgil is a tarantula. But when Virgil joined the light sides and Thomas began seeing him in a more positive light, something in him changed. Rather than losing his animal connection, he gained a second.
Virgil and Patton had been getting much closer lately, and Virgil was getting more and more worried. He hadn't told any of the light sides what he was. He was sure they'd be terrified of him. But with all this extra time he'd been spending with Patton lately, Patton was sure to find out. And when he did, what would he think? Would he be scared of him? Would Patton be afraid to be near him if he knew he was a tarantula?
Was Patton gonna find out, or could Virgil manage to hide his true form forever?

Summary
Virgil, Roman, Patton, and Logan each have a barbie-doll-sized lookalike of themselves, with their own representations and names. They each represent their host's biggest insecurities, their biggest flaws, the things their host is the most afraid of being discovered as having.
Roman is the most afraid of the others finding out how much he hates himself sometimes, how much of a failure he feels like.
Virgil is afraid of the others finding out how much he's discovered he needs them. How much he can't stand being alone for fear of leaving them and never getting to see them again. For fear of being truly alone again.
Patton is afraid of the others finding out how much he wonders about the point of it all. Of fighting to do the right thing, when in reality, he isn't even sure if the right thing exists at all.
And Logan is afraid of the others finding out how desperately he longs for companionship and touch. Oh, how he so violently and furiously longs for touch. This will all be out in the open sooner than they'd like, and they'll have to adjust very fast.

Summary
Virgil had lived at the orphanage his whole life, in the human side of town, where he, as a human, belonged. He liked the orphanage he lived at. He knew what to expect there, he understood how everything worked, it was all familiar. Comfortable.
But that comfortable life was torn to pieces when he turned eighteen and thus officially aged out of being under the orphanage's care. He didn't have a job, he didn't have a driver's license, he didn't have any friends, and the orphanage legally couldn't take care of him anymore. So basically, he had no home. After constant fruitless efforts, the orphanage finally found one household willing to house him and pay his living expenses!
Great, right? Except there was one problem. Not a single house in the human side of town was willing to take him in. So how had they found somewhere?!
Of course, of COURSE, that question just had to have a bullshit answer like this...
Which was, since his life was just going handy dandy as it was, that they had, in fact, found said household...
In the giant side of town... -

Summary
Virgil was kicked out of his home at age fourteen when he finally stood up to his verbally and mentally abusive parents, and he has been barely surviving on the streets since. He finally turned sixteen and was able to get a job, but unfortunately there was only one place that would take him.
He met Logan, a low-level demon, during his second week of working at Orden Presa En Línea. As a demon, Logan was required to consume souls, but he was strictly against the common yet unpopular method of killing and consuming the souls of your victims, so he and his brother both began using vore as a means to trick their bodies into consuming energy instead of souls and leave the prey unharmed while still getting the nutrition they needed.
It was simply a chance meeting that brought Logan, Patton, and Virgil together, but it changed all three of their lives forever. For Logan, it meant finally meeting someone aside from his brother that appreciated and loved who he is despite his being a demon. For Patton, it meant discovering that friends aren't just who you're related to. For Virgil, it meant having a family for the first time in his life, and finally being able to discover what the word family really meant.

Summary
Janus has always been the most obvious case when it comes to animalistic attributes. And second to him, Remus. Until Patton woke up one morning with an entirely new body. The story evolves, and the next to reveal his animal attributes is Virgil.
For a while, it's just them. They have no explanation for why Patton and Virgil's animal attributes, unlike with Janus and Remus, completely rebuilt their entire physical structure.
And then, Roman experiences this dramatic change as well. And an even longer time later, Logan does as well.
Through each new sides' experience, they have to rely on and trust their fellow sides more than ever before as they all are forced to relearn everything they thought they knew about themselves.- Words:

Summary
Deceased playwright Roman Wesley Prince hardly minds having new people living in what used to be his house, especially since it allows him to keep abreast of the changing times after his death. His new housemate, Virgil Chevalier, is particularly intriguing, even though Roman finds himself uncharacteristically hesitant to appear before him.
