“Sorry? For what?” Viktor gets his answer almost immediately when Jayce quite literally sweeps him off of his feet and into a princess carry. The man’s cane clatters to the soft greenery beneath them and his arms wrap around his recent husband’s neck. “Is this truly a necessity? I am hardly a blushing bride that you should carry me over the threshold so excitedly.”
“And yet you are blushing,” Jayce’s gaze is gentle as he leans in to dust Viktor’s pinkened face with gentle kisses. “Play along with me, Vik. This is our first home together after all, and most likely our last. This is the place we’re going to argue at 3am, read by the fireplace, raise our children, and grow old together. The rest of our beautiful, romantic lives are going to be in this place, Viktor.”
OR
A life in which Jayce and Viktor never had to part, where Hextech never became a threat to humanity and neither did Viktor. In this life, they're allowed to be together, get married, and have that cottage life with their four daughters that they were always meant to have.

Summary
Memories lash his brain of building this house for them to live in, of him and Viktor pouring through a multitude of catalogues to decide what furniture they wanted to fill it with. Them looking at baby clothes that booths were selling in the markets in town. Their cuddles turning into love-drunk kisses at the end of a long day in the lab. There would never be any more days like those. Viktor was gone and he had taken those tender moments with him, along with all the colors worth experiencing.

Viktor dies and Jayce, unable to accept his new reality, travels to the Underworld in an attempt to reunite with his beloved partner.

Yae Miko is having trouble concentrating on editing the latest novel turned into her publishing house, mainly because she finally has her beloved in the same plane of existence as her for the first time in the longest time. She decides to take some sakura mochi over to Ei's home but before she can even leave her doorway, the very object of her affections is standing right there. They always did have excellent timing, and some things truly never do change.

Aventurine makes it out of the abyss - and into a different world. Things are different here - simpler. There are no Aeons, no intergalactic factions and corporations, no Paths and Blessings. He is not naïve enough to assume that there is no cruelty and discrimination here - for there always is - but for the most part, everything is peaceful.
Here, Aventurine's priorities are getting people's coffee orders right. Fairly straight forward, if you ask him.
Except for the bit where he is surrounded by too many familiar faces, and they remind him of a place he can no longer return to. That's okay. People come and go, and so will they.
Except for the bit where they come and go and come back.
AKA. Aventurine gets dropped into a coffee-shop AU with all the memories from before. He's handling things until he's not handling things. That's okay, because he still has friends (and Dr Ratio) in this world. He just doesn't know it yet.

“Is that so?” Phainon challenged, still holding onto Mydei’s wrist. He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss over his hand, never once breaking Mydei’s eye contact. “Then why don’t you allow me to express my gratitude to you? Surely, my words alone won’t suffice.”
Mydei bristled before snatching his hand away. “I came here for sex,” he declared, “not to be wooed by someone with ulterior motives apart from that.”
Phainon raised a brow. “Bold of you to assume I didn’t come here for the same reasons.”
