Summary
Harry Potter lived with the Dursleys until a bout of particularly powerful accidental magic sent him to a Park in Hampstead to avoid punishment. Rather than return to his relatives, Harry decides to make it on his own - kind of. Harry finds himself friends with a grass snake who lives underneath the tree Harry decides to inhabit.
But as Harry's 11th birthday approaches, there are those out looking for the Boy-Who-Lived who is not where he was left nearly ten years ago. Harry will enter the wizarding world regardless, but this time he'll have a smidgen more wisdom, a dash more power, and a loyal snake friend to help him along.

So far, a good story with hardworking clever but not overpowered Harry. It's only major flaw is its frequent irritating inconsistencies, as if the author misremembers what s/he wrote in the previous chapter. Harry names his owl "Snow", then calls her Hedwig. He is given Dudley's 2 nd room, but in the next chapter is stuck in the cupboard.
