Two days had passed since Verona had been shaken to its core, when that pair of star-crossed lovers flew to heaven, choosing to leave this earthly hell in their wake. The house had fallen silent. Juliet had been a meek thing, yet as she grew into her dimples and wild nest of brown curls, each sharp retort of hers loosed her tongue from her ruddy cheek, and her shrieking laugh became the house’s anthem. She let rules and expectations glide off her, twirling through life as the heir to one of the richest names in the city. Now, the tapestries in the halls did not stir in the whirl of her skirt, the stones of dusty passages left rough without her touch, every mouth turned down, except, of course, the Lady’s, which betrayed nothing at all.

Summary
The valley air hits differently than the city you came from. The bus you took to get to Stardew Valley only took you right outside the city limits, so you walked the rest of the way to the farm your grandfather left you in his will.
He had died only a couple of months ago, and it took some back and forth between you and your parents on what to do with the property. You were familiar with farm life from visiting your grandfather in your younger years, but completely running a farm to make a living is a completely different thing. Not to mention you already had your own life in the city, though your life there was not turning out as you thought and things were starting to get rocky. You moved to the city to get a change of scenery and take advantage of opportunities, but it turned out to be much more ferocious and difficult than you thought. Mentions of selling the property were mentioned but just felt wrong, as the farm was precious to your grandfather. Perhaps the farm could be just what you need, and if it isn’t, then you can always sell the property.
