Wukong stopped plating potatoes. “... okay, but we did make out, right?”
Macaque sputtered. “What—no?”
“Ah, bummer.” Wukong’s lips quirked into a little grin before he turned back towards the stove. “How do you like your eggs, by the way?”

or, it all starts with wukong breaking into macaque's apartment drunk, and now here comes the cliché of the century: two monkeys in art school (who both are secretly lonely, broken, touch-starved messes) fall in love and try to keep their shit from getting in the way for once in their life.

Having lived through everything he had, this part always felt silly. The sitting, the breathing, and the waiting. His life was in no danger. That the logic of that wasn't enough on its own to ease the pain-- or flush out the stress that made his hands shake-- was as unfair as it was ridiculous. Baser instincts that kept a creature alive were vestigial at best when that creature existed beyond the normal laws of mortality, and yet every demon was still bound to them.
Many could avoid fate. But not even heaven, nor its equals, could escape fear.-

A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.

Summary
After Muriel not returning from their trip, Aziraphale goes looking for them only to find that they accidentally enraged a giant serpent after they took a flower from the garden. Aziraphale decides to trade places with Muriel, after all, they're only there because of him. He's now kept captive in the serpent's house until the flowers grow back, but it doesn't feel like a prison.
