Summary
No one can deny nightmares are terrifying. Many in Sumeru were joyful at being able to dream, but nightmares are dreams too. Mere thoughts, and more often than not the darkest of them, turn into unsettling, lucid, seeming realities.
A trouble Alhaitham and Kaveh were both facing.
But they were alright. Many difficulties had come to them in the past, which they had faced and conquered. This was just one more of the thousands that they knew would come in the future.
Healing took time. It took care, attention and love. And many people find it difficult to provide those things to themselves. So maybe all they need is someone to care for, someone who cares for them.

Summary
Aventurine makes it out of the abyss - and into a different world. Things are different here - simpler. There are no Aeons, no intergalactic factions and corporations, no Paths and Blessings. He is not naïve enough to assume that there is no cruelty and discrimination here - for there always is - but for the most part, everything is peaceful.
Here, Aventurine's priorities are getting people's coffee orders right. Fairly straight forward, if you ask him.
Except for the bit where he is surrounded by too many familiar faces, and they remind him of a place he can no longer return to. That's okay. People come and go, and so will they.
Except for the bit where they come and go and come back.
AKA. Aventurine gets dropped into a coffee-shop AU with all the memories from before. He's handling things until he's not handling things. That's okay, because he still has friends (and Dr Ratio) in this world. He just doesn't know it yet.

Those are some of the first words Ajax, starving college student extraordinaire, has the misfortune of hearing upon waking up in a brave new world from what he's fairly sure is a very fatal accident involving water and a shit ton of electricity.
Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.
And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

Summary
Childe had always assumed that he would die young. He had accepted that a long time ago, ever since he accepted the mantle of a Fatui Harbinger. However, he always thought that he would die in a glorious fight, his body broken but spirit relishing the strong opponent that had bested him. He was okay with that type of death.
Unfortunately, it seemed like Fate had decided to add one last insult to injury, because, here Childe was, dying because he had fallen in love with the ex-Geo Archon. The same Archon who seemed to have discarded him like an old toy ever since the Osial Incident.
