Ajax Petropolus is desperately in love with Enid Sinclair and wants to date her properly, but he can’t, because his colorful, bubbly almost-girlfriend refuses to leave her gloomy roommate all alone. So Ajax takes matters into his own hands: he hires his friend, Tyler Galpin — a broke college student juggling classes, a barista job at the campus café, and music band to do the impossible: seduce Wednesday Addams.

Far from it.
