Summary
"I'll what?" Mydei asks.
"You'll—" Phainon's teeth are gritted. His breath comes in harsh pants. He takes a hit to the side, lands one to Mydei's face. "—Take me with you," he finishes. That's the moment when he falters, losing his balance after taking a knee to the gut, glaring furiously but not struggling when he finds himself pinned. His eyes, up close, are frightfully blue.
"You're smiling," he says.
Mydei smiles a little wider. "You'd be wise to assume I'm baring my teeth."

As a witcher, Mydei fights monsters and travels alone. Emphasis on that last part. That is, until some village boy starts following him around, desperate to get stronger. -
