"I told the stars about you," Calli mumbles, sitting cross-legged on Kiara's hardwood bedroom floor, and angles her head high so her cheek is resting on top of Kiara's right thigh. Her chest heaves with every rise and fall and Kiara thinks that she'd gladly get lost in the depths of eyes stained carmine any time.
Kiara hums and lets it rumble in her throat, hand combing through Calli's hair, admiring the way the light pink strands run through the gaps in her fingers like waves with ease.
"What'd they say?"
