Summary
Midoriya Izuku, freed from a lifelong hospital stay and the shadow of his overprotective mother, enters college, determined to finally live. He immediately collides with his painful past in the form of Bakugo Katsuki, his childhood friend and rival with whom he had a deeply unresolved fight years ago.
Bakugo is drastically changed, no longer the explosive child, but a reserved, burdened young man hiding behind an emotional wall. The story tracks Midoriya's relentless attempts to breach this barrier and resolve their toxic history, even as he realizes Bakugo's mysterious new life is somehow more painful and secretive than the childhood angst they shared. Their reunion forces them to confront whether their fractured bond can survive their traumatic past and their dramatically different present circumstances.

“Why are you in the shower?” Deku was rigid, standing deathly still. He kept his gaze glued to the wall before him, not daring to glance behind him.
“I’ve had your oily ass all over me for days,” he answered casually. “I want to be clean.”

Or, shortly after being discharged from the hospital, Deku wakes Bakugou up with a bad migraine. Bakugou plays nurse as best he can with one functioning arm and a weak heart. As the days pass and Deku fails to get better, Bakugou suspects there’s a deeper meaning behind his worsening condition.

Summary
When Midoriya Izuku wants something, he figures out how to get it.
Maybe it's not the best coping mechanism, but being the class clown (and class vigilante, although nobody knows that yet) has proven to be the best way for a quirkless freak to get some sort of positive affirmation. Yeah, he's useless, but at least he's funny. As the vigilante Ghost, he meets Eraserhead and saves civilians during daring escapades. But as the newly-quirked Izuku, his abusive father has come back and everyone in UA seems to hate him for making jokes.
In other words; follow Izuku on his adventures through UA as he suffers in many various ways! Might include a ship after a while, but will not be romance-oriented. Read the tags for possible TWs!
