The two hilariously pretend to be a couple at therapy, but for Bucky pretend feelings start to turn into the real thing, but does Sam feel the same way?

    This is my Whumptober love story! Civil War never happened, Steve and Tony are alive (and are Bucky and Sam's wingmen), Bucky still got the arm upgrade at Wakanda.

    Peter sits up in bed and rubs his eyes. That sentence can mean a lot of things and he needs to be a little more awake to tackle any of those possibilities.

    Peter yawns. “What’s wrong?”

    “He says it’s his stomach. He was in enough pain to wake me up so I figured he might need a doctor.”

    Bruce squints closely at the hot piece of metal in Tony’s chest. “Yeah, not so much. Heart burn isn’t actually supposed to generate heat. Your heart’s not supposed to be actually burning.”

    Tony takes a deep breath.

    Peter can tell that Tony’s in legitimate pain and he’s trying to hide it for Peter’s sake. Or maybe Bruce’s sake. Whoever’s sake it’s for, Tony’s trying to put on a brave face, but something is definitely wrong.
