I can do this, Peter thought. I mean, i’m literally Spider-Man!
The second the seniors and Felicia walked off, Peter marched forward. With a surge of confidence, he stepped into MJ’s personal space—which was already a myth between them—and slammed his hand against the kitchen cabinet right beside MJ’s head. He tried to loom over him, putting on his best "smoldering" face.
“Hey,” Peter said, dropping his voice an octave. It came out sounding like a low-budget Batman impression.
MJ bit his lip, but a sharp, melodic laugh escaped anyway. “Peter,” MJ chuckled, his voice a smooth contrast to the thumping music. “What are you doing?”
This was inspired by Jeremih’s song “Impatient” (I really recommend this song by the way, it’s so good!!) but I scrapped a whole lot, just know this takes place at a party.

“Peter, what the fuck.”
“Should I use the front door next time?” Peter gives his stupid toothy smile except his mouth has blood dripping on the side and his lips are torn and bruised.
“Shut your fucking mouth, Parker.” MJ grabs his chin to tilt the man’s head to scan the injuries on his face. Nothing too life threatening and he can clearly still crack a joke.
“What happened?”
“I thought you told me to shut my mouth?”
Or, that one hurt scene from The Amazing Spider-Man but spideymbj.

Summary
Another few minutes passed in silence after that, both of them too engrossed in their own homework to say anything further. Peter had put his headphones in so he could concentrate better without any distractions.
“Michael,” the guy says suddenly. Peter looked up at the sound of his voice, but he didn’t hear him quite clearly.
He pulls an earbud out of his ear. “What?”
The guy—Michael, apparently—clears his throat. “My name is Michael,” he doesn’t look at Peter as he speaks, he’s scribbling something on his notebook instead.
“Oh,” Peter breathes out. He didn’t expect the guy to introduce himself. “I’m Peter.”
“I know who you are.”
