“Hello, George. You miss me?”
Dream’s voice had suddenly consumed George’s ears and he grew tense. He bit his bottom lip and placed his warm mug on the countertop, his hand stealthily taking hold of the knife’s handle.
“You certainly took your time on this one, Dream,” George heard himself say, voice a bit breathless and airy, “Have a bit of trouble?”
Dream laughed, his familiar wheeze that almost made George’s lips twitch upwards, “Is that my fault, Georgie?” He crooned and George could swear he could see him pouting like a child in his mind, “Someone had to go and make it difficult.”

“What could you possibly help me with anyways?” George switches the conversation in a desperate attempt to stop his cheeks from turning even redder.“Kissing.” Dream says, abruptly.
The students in the cafeteria still move around them the same, still carry on their conversations and laugh and yell at each other, and yet for a moment, George swears everything stops. For a few seconds, it’s as if everything has faded away into a blurry background and nothing else is important, and it’s just George and Dream staring at each other. Red blush snakes its way up George’s neck and his cheeks turn impossibly crimson.
George is pretty sure he’s going to explode.
He wonders at that moment if Sapnap had truly been right; that everyone knew that George has a crush on Dream, even Dream himself.
Dream asks George for help in chemistry, and in return, he promises to teach George how to kiss. It doesn’t go how either of them expects.

George chokes on his spit, angrily snapping his Sugar Quill in half. He looks mournfully at the two sugary halves before shoving one in his mouth, chewing it in exasperation. “I don’t have a crush.”
“Oh! We’re talking about Dream!” Sapnap leans against George, his legs neatly placed in Bad’s lap. “Yeah, you do dude. You literally went bright red at the end of the Quidditch match the other day,” Sapnap gleefully comments, snatching the other half of the broken Sugar Quill and popping it in his mouth.
“Stop it, I don’t have a crush on Dream!” George spits out loudly, watching as Techno and Wilbur look over curiously, chuckling at him before turning back to their game. George wants to Obliviate himself on the spot.

Dream considered the dare carefully. It was easy enough. Sure, he’d probably break some rando’s heart, but he could always find a dude with a crappy dating reputation. He’d get over it pretty quickly. And if it meant finally putting the subject to rest and winning a hundred bucks above that, what did he have to lose? Not to mention, afterward, girls would still be interested in him and he frankly didn’t care about strangers’ opinions of him.
“Fine. I’ll find a guy to date for a week and prove I’m as straight as they come. I hope you have those hundred dollars handy.” Dream’s smile showed off nothing but confidence.
Sapnap’s smirk only widened at his agreement. “No no no, I have one condition.”
“What?”

Mo’s hands are covered in little scratches, from when he was digging for He Tian. That’s what He Tian is looking at. Some of the cuts had bled, some just stung. Nothing deep. Mo’s hands are now a mess of dried blood and dirt and sensitive skin.
“…what are you doing?” he asks, calmer than he would have a second ago.
“Thank you,” He Tian tells him.
Mo frowns. “I didn’t do anything.”
He Tian keeps looking at his hand.
“Thank you for caring.”
Post Chapter 329. He Tian almost died. They have a few conversations brewing just beneath the surface. This just might be the push they needed.
