Summary
The Dealmaker waits in Kris' inventory, watching the events of Chapter 3 unfold. He sees his former business partner and lover go through stage after stage of mania and frustration, and alongside him is a teenage girl who just so happens to have his nose, his glasses, his hair. Surely it's a coincidence, he tells himself; something he can write off until they make it past the fountain and he can forget everything all over again.
Until the Knight appears and, with Tenna on the brink of death and a young girl crying for help, Spamton can no longer turn a blind eye to the situation. What happens after Tenna wakes up, however, is not something that he planned for.

Samson panted as he hiked up the side of Mount Ebott, trying his best to keep going despite the pain in his body. His back ached, his calves were screaming, his ankles felt about ready to give out by now, but still he pressed on. He needed to make it to the top of the mountain, he couldn’t wait any longer. He’d heard rumors about there being an opening at the top of the mountain, an opening that led to the underground where all the monsters had been sealed. The barrier prevented monsters from escaping, but that didn’t mean that humans couldn’t enter, or at least Sam hoped that was the case. But he couldn’t afford to be wrong, he was running out of time…

Summary
Spamton enjoys his situationship with Tenna, but he's certain that's all they can be: a fun fling. That assumption is turned on its head when a mysterious bouncing baby materializes in Tenna’s office and the pair must find where she belongs. Tenna quickly adores her, but Spamton stays firm: this is not something they can ever have together.
Making matters worse, something strange is brewing in Cyber City. Darkners are acting strangely, and the little girl they're hauling may be more than meets the eye. Through the adventure, Spamton discovers that impossible happy ending might be closer than he thinks. Is it something he's even capable of grabbing?
