Summary
“You think I’d get away with that in house?” Zuko bites down his frustration. Agni, he really can’t do anything nice for her. Yes, it’s back-ended by motive, but she doesn’t know that.
Then, to his utter shock, Katara laughs. Soft, restrained. So like all those times he’d say something that amused her on his ship. “You still haven’t learned to smile when you do that.”
He’s spent months living off the memory of her smile, turning away like it was the suns glare and he only deserved to be burned. Now he stares at it, lungs shriveling the longer he forgets to breath. Wasn't he supposed to be doing something? He can’t remember. Can’t remember his own name, let alone pay attention to a nagging voice that sounds a lot like Azula’s. Not with Katara’s laugh still ringing in his ears.
~ ~ ~
What is Katara supposed to do when she receives a secret note from Ba Sing Se's masked vigilante pointing her towards Pao's Family Teashop and the Fire Nation's most wanted fugitives are bussing tables and serving tea?My continued take on the series if Zutara were the series endgame. Feat Book Two canon-divergences, aged-up characters, secret plots, mature themes, pining, and Two Idiots in Love.

Summary
“I’d hate being kept from the sun.” Zuko reaches over her shoulder so his pale hand glows. Moonlight bathes her in silver, cloaking her like a second skin of crushed diamonds. Men of the Fire Nation burn the air around them. Women shimmer like a hot summer day.
He’s never seen anyone sparkle.
“I… I shouldn’t have stolen the moon from you. Tui’s waiting.”
She breathes in. “It’s impossible to steal the moon. But you did steal me.”

Summary
She walked past him after every shift at the Pharmacy. He’d stare despondently ahead, dark eyes seeing nothing while the people walking by pretended not to see him.
At first Clarke was the same. He’d be sitting at the corner between Burrad and Davie, a ceramic bowl clutched in his hands that he kept his begged for change in. His hair was shorter back then, but the months had turned it grimy, shaggy around his shoulders, the grease adding a shine to the bedraggled dark locks. The clothes he’d find were puckered with holes and he had no shoes, then or now, so he’d sit cross-legged and periodically shift his legs to keep his feet from freezing. He had no dog, no cart full of whatever he could pick up or cardboard sign begging for coins.
The only things that never changed were that corner and the bowl.
Same bowl. Same corner.
Fifty two weeks. Coming and going. Always the same corner.
It was on week eighty four that he finally spoke to her.
// Based on the true story of my encounter with a Homeless man, and the events that changed lives.

Summary
He’d pushed her to go out with Chris and he is going out with Ashley, and he’s already fucked things up so much that he’s afraid he can’t fix it now.
He’s fully prepared for Lucy to reject him, maybe even slap him.
What he isn’t prepared for is Lucy standing on her tiptoes, lurching forward and pressing her lips to his.
He’s not prepared, but he gets on board pretty fucking fast.

Summary
The first time he wakes up to her in his bed, he thinks it’s Kojo. Something soft and wet nuzzles his neck, and he half-swats at the dog, cursing under his breath as he rolls over.
Finds lash-tinged eyes watching him instead.
They say nothing as they look at each other; him, still half-asleep; her, unnaturally quiet.
She looks too calm to be real. Too serene.
So Tim does the most logical thing he can think of and leans over to kiss her.

Summary
Tim slides his palm over the tear in the kneecap of her jeans, her skin smooth and warm against his calloused hand. “You’re fine just how you are.”
He watches as she sets her glass down and turns towards him, her knees knocking against his thigh. “You do appreciate me, don’t you?”

Picking up where I imagine 4x01 will take us, Lucy comes to check on Tim at his house after Angela and Jackson are safe and ~stuff happens~ (but it's gonna take a lil fluff and angst to get there).
