It had been three days since Spy last talked to him. He had been cold and distant to Scout, his responses dry and avoidant. It was tearing him apart on the inside, the lack of interaction outside of the brief “hellos” in the changeroom was becoming too much to bear.
Maybe he shouldn’t have gotten his hopes up, he was being real stupid about it all. Just before Spy had gone cold on him, Scout really thought it was going somewhere. He’d sit with Spy in his room everyday for hours and be showered with affection and kind words.
