This is a fifty-chapter individual project dedicated to being a TF2 related inspo-dump. Most of these oneshots can effectively be their own full-length fanfics if you try hard enough, but due to circumstances (writing three fanfics already), I place them here as first draft oneshots that can serve as bases for full-length fanfics or as inspiration for other fanfics.
You, the reader, can make oneshots and full fanfics from these, as these are ideas, but please credit me for the idea/premise and let me know with a comment so I can read the work.

The more they didn’t get anger, the more they wanted it.
They wanted Scout to get mad that they forgot. They wanted him to yell or cry or throw things. He’d done so much to help Pyro with the other mercs’ birthdays so far, he should expect the same. But he didn’t.
Even the night before his birthday, he hadn’t brought it up once. There was just a quiet acceptance on his face- that tomorrow meant nothing. Not to him, not to anybody. He wasn’t angry. Wasn’t even sad.
It went unspoken that he was very, very used to this.

“I am nothing like you, moron,” Scout seethed, jabbing Spy in the chest with a bandaged finger. “You don’t ever get to say that, you hear me?”
Spy scoffed, shoving him away. “No, you aren’t. The stealthiest, smartest, most powerful mercenary on this team versus the most obnoxious, useless, noisy, loudmouthed brat in the country? I think not.”
Several mercs grumbled their disagreement at the ‘smartest’ and ‘most powerful’ bits, but if Scout or Spy had even noticed them walk in at all, they didn’t show it. Scout’s fists balled at his sides as he glared daggers at his father. “You want quiet, old man?”
“Please. If I never hear another word out of you, it would be too soon.”
Scout only gritted his teeth before the match began.
And God knows he followed through.
