The ED team shuffles out, Whitaker and Dr. Robby taking up the rear. Dr. Robby stops him with a hand on Whitaker’s waist, there and gone. “Really,” he says low, directly into his ear, beard scratching his cartilage, “that was amazing. You didn’t waste any time starting compressions. That probably saved that baby’s life. You saved that baby’s life.”
The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

Summary
Tenna has always prided himself on his performances, but when a certain mailman joins the TV Time team, he starts running into some difficulties - Tenna has no clue how to act around Spamton without making a fool of himself! Some of his awkwardness falls away once he is given the role of a lifetime - Tenna's first stage kiss, a random Cyber City bar as the backdrop for the scene, and, of course, Spamton as his captivated audience.
Or, simply, instead of admitting their feelings for one another, Spamton convinces Tenna to make out with a stranger so that he can watch.

He knows he could have called Maddie and she would have been there, though the memory of her disappointment last time stopped him. As for everyone else—even if he weren’t prohibited from talking to them by his lawyer, Buck doubts anyone would have come. The last time they talked was when they ran into each other in the grocery store a week back, and, since Buck is not eager for a repeat of that interaction, he doesn’t even consider calling anyone in to hold his hand for what is, he tells himself, probably just another little blip on his road back to the 118.
He is able to convince himself of this up until the moment Dr. Gutierrez walks into his room and says, “Well, Evan, you just can’t seem to do anything the easy way, can you?”
Because, as it turns out, there is a circumstance under which a tiny clot that doesn’t cause you to vomit blood in front of all of your friends and family is worse than three big ones that do: that circumstance is called ‘being on blood thinners.’

Summary
After having been thoroughly beaten down by foe and friend alike, Vox has sequestered himself in his creepy supervillain surveillance cave, forced to remain existing as just a head (Valentino hid his body somewhere, that traitorous moth slut… since when did he go all soft?!).
He hasn't given up on his plans just yet, though; rewatching the footage from that fateful day, he zeroes in on the person that just may be his ticket upstairs.
Lute is frustrated with her life in Heaven, having been demoted and essentially deemed “obsolete”. She's been forced to lay down her sword, but her grief over Adam's death mixed with her bloodlust for revenge can only be contained for so long. She's a powder keg, waiting for the right spark to come along that will ignite Heaven and Hell alike.
“They'll pay-”
