Summary
When Eddie Munson finally wakes up, the first thing he sees is Steve's sleeping body draped over an uncomfortable-looking chair. As he starts healing he keeps expecting Steve to run off, but he never does. Instead, the pair grow closer and the line between love and friendship fades. Slowly but surely Eddie learns more about Steve, and vice versa. A fix-it fic in which Eddie and Max survive, and the gang finally gets a chance to be normal kids.
The fic's title is based on the W.A.S.P. song. :)

“Steve,” Wayne echoes. “This is my home. Eddie’s my boy.” And then he ruffles his hair with one large hand, coarse from years of working with them, in an action that reminds Steve of Hopper.
“I’m gonna go down there and get my boy back. You’re gonna be my tour guide.” He holds his hand out for the final gun Steve has stashed, which he gives over reluctantly. He finds Wayne remarkably difficult to argue with—wonders if Eddie found the same. “Tour guides don’t need guns. You point at somethin’, I shoot it. Got it, Steve?”

Summary
Three shots ring out.
Steve hears them before he feels them; a warm, wet pain burning in his torso, intolerably excruciating.
There’s a bundle of squawks and screams, outbursts of panic and anger, and it’s only when Hopper falls forwards to take Steve up into a slightly rough, protective hold, does he realize that two of those shots have lodged themselves in his own flesh and bone. (Realizes that he’d moved, instinctively, to shield El, despite never having spoken to her, who’d the gun had been so precisely pointed at, aimed for.)
Steve Harrington watches his own blood pool and trickle over a series of hands pressed against him, small and large, soft and rugged, and for a moment, wants to stay like this. He can’t.

Summary
Under a much different circumstance, Eddie would have loved to have Steve’s eyes looking over him like that, would love to have that determination focused on him, but Eddie is very much dying, he knows it, so he smiles at Steve’s misplaced confidence instead, “High expectations, Stevie. Where’d you learn to swing like that anyway?”
“I’ll tell you,” Steve’s voice is a bit shaky, his tone wavering, even as he puts on a brave face, “but you have to stay alive, Munson.”
If he had more strength, he’d consider testing his luck one last time, tease Steve by asking if he swings for Eddie’s team, but- he’s tired.
Dying young. What a fucking nightmare.
Or, what if the Party defeats Vecna in time, and Eddie lives?

Summary
If you told Steve a year ago that Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson would become a regular at the Harrington household during the summer of ‘86, he would’ve told you that’d be impossible. But that’s just how things go in Hawkins. The impossible never actually seems to manage being impossible. Exhibit A: Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson is now officially one of the gang, and truthfully Steve’s still trying to figure out how he feels about that. And he doesn’t seem to be alone in his ambivalence. Eddie meshes well with almost everyone else in the group, but he still doesn’t seem to know what to make of Steve, which—well, it’s not like Steve’s feelings are hurt, per say, but it certainly doesn’t help the awkward tension he feels whenever they accidentally find themselves alone in a room together.
---Eddie confuses Steve. Steve frustrates Eddie. They're complete opposites, which is why they're finding it so hard to navigate the tentative friendship between them, right? Right. It definitely doesn't have anything to do with the way Steve can't seem to stop staring at Eddie or the way Eddie's foot seems to find its way into his mouth every time he talks to Steve. Nope. That's definitely not the issue.

Eddie’s grip tightened. His other hand came to grab at Steve’s chin, forcing his eyes to lock into his. “I can’t Steve,” he let it drip from his tongue like honey. It would be wrong, he’d be a proper monster then, had never even done it before. Sucked from donated blood bags like they were juice boxes, just enough to fill him, never enough to keep him full.
They both knew he could. That he would.

Summary
“We’re practically starving out there! Mike ate the last slice of pizza ten minutes ago, I’m pretty sure Lucas is about to die of thirst. And Will is looking at me like I’m a hamburger. We’re talking about cannibalism in at least fifteen minutes.”
If Dustin suspected something he didn’t show it, instead offering Steve a goofy smile before leaving the kitchen. With a fleeting glance back at Steve, Eddie followed after him, arm cradling the six pack of sodas and his own beer in his other hand. The pair left Steve alone in the kitchen, hands still poised as if he was holding the bowl of popcorn; heart racing, head spinning and the past few months of playful banter, slightly rough nudges, heated glances, sleepovers and gentle almost-moments suddenly coming crashing down onto Steve and sending him spiraling.
One hand reached behind himself for his beer as the other gripped the lip of the counter for support.
In the few moments of silence he realized what he’d almost done, what he had wanted to do and just how many times he had wanted it.
Steve Harrington finally realized, in that moment, he very much wanted to kiss Eddie Munson.
