    He didn’t understand what Nezu was getting at with this whole affair and request.

    Especially right now. .

    School photos?

    In December?

    When it was frigid outside and when most school photos took place in the early autumn or spring, when most would anticipate these things?

    Not to mention the fact that Nezu was insisting on a themed class photo.

    Holiday themed, of course.

    And, yeah. This didn’t make a lick of sense and it frustrated Shouta to no end to know that he didn’t have the rational answer to this quandary. Instead he was stuck dealing with the minutiae of an illogical demand from a rather underhanded and aloof superior. And he knew that Nezu reveled in doing this, knew that the creature delighted in making Shouta’s days just a little more complicated with his deliberately vague requests.

    But there was little good that would come from arguing with Nezu. That creature was difficult to persuade to change tea brands let alone plans he’d made of the school.

    So, Shouta would have to resign himself to the tedium of prepping the entirety of Class 1-A for this photo session.

    “It’s already a fucking miracle you’re not in juvie while being charged with murder—” Izuku flinches “—you can’t afford to slip up.” Mr. Aizawa’s tone is harsh as they slow, his dark eyes resting heavily on him. “Do you understand?”

    Izuku nods, whispering a small, “Sorry.”

    Mr. Aizawa glares at him, tugging him along, like he doesn’t believe him. “Stop being sorry and just follow the rules.”

    Izuku isn’t going to juvie. They said he’s different – doesn’t matter that he’s killed someone, the police is worried about a quirkless child being around other ‘troubled’ kids.

    Now this Mr. Aizawa is stuck with him until his trial, and Izuku’s completely, a hundred percent certain that the man absolutely hates him.

    Unbeknownst to them, someone is watching from the shadows...
