Lighthouse Keeper Jason Todd is walking along the shore and hears a kid crying. Given that he's on an otherwise deserted island barely accessible by boat, this is especially concerning.
“I’m fine,” she said again, glaring daggers at him. “My da is going to be here soon, and he’ll kick your ass!”
“Good.”
She squinted at him, and Jason shrugged, keeping his hands up and open. “I’m glad you’ve got someone to help you. I was afraid you might be stuck here alone, and like I said, you look like you might need a hand. In the meantime, though, we should get you up on the cliff.
