    Coming from an underwater world, Rui's lifelong dream has always been to visit the surface world, the "dry lands", and he feels that his time is running out as he unwillingly enters the race to his kingdom's throne, as the former reignant has passed away and the people love him.
    One night he tricks his friends and somehow reaches the overworld, getting litterally fished out of the water by a fisherman, who, unluckily though, cannot keep him with him... but he does know someone who'll give him shelter in exchange for some help looking after his sister and their home.

    “Well if it isn't you, sir! I see you have company today!”
    For the first time ever since stepping foot on land, Rui found himself speechless.
    The boy's golden hair glowed in the daylight, his bright smile and big eyes only making his figure shine even more.
    Rui could have sworn that he needed to squint to be able to look at him, but that would have been a lie, as both his eyes and jaw had dropped way more open than they should have been.
