Summary
The Hollow Knight is a vessel.
The Knight ("Ghost," the Gendered Child had once said) was not. The Knight was the Void Given Focus, a thing with will, with mind, with nothing turned into Something. The antithesis to light, and not its absence.
The Knight has always been so impossibly large it should have been empty, and yet it instead burst full. It came as no surprise to sense it become free from its shell, wherever it was now.
But the Hollow Knight is a vessel.
