He silently hoped it would fill the hole in his heart from the loss of past loved ones.For Radiant, it was a combination of sympathy and empathy. If something had happened to Seven Red Suns, he’d want others to help.
It wasn’t like he had a real choice, anyways.For Fowler, it was out of principle. They were not one to abandon those they had made promises to.
And they refused to bear witness to another child losing their guardian.For Bard, it was simply about having fun. It's not every day you got to fight zombies, after all.
Even if it meant helping an Iterator.For Angel, it was a mix of duty and compassion that compelled her to repair the dying Iterator. It was what she had been made for, and she was glad to be of use.
Being needed meant people were less likely to betray or abandon you. -

Summary

The best revenge was lifeblood-warm and tasted like salt, iron, and the death of hope. The best revenge smelled of fresh entrails and mortal terror. The best revenge sounded like the dying screams of a man being torn apart by the incomprehensible horror he’d helped create. The best revenge felt like warm wetness on his claws, on his fangs, on his tendrils. The best revenge was the color of human blood. The best revenge came with the painful deaths of those that had wronged you.
There was a reason people said you shouldn’t stare into the Void. You never knew what might be staring back, after all.

Summary
Her brilliant plan was as follows:
1. Hide right up against the wall next to the door out of the Abyss so the Pale Bellend didn’t see her immediately.
2. When he walked through the door, waste no time in hitting him in the back of the head, or the back of whatever she could reach with her club to stun him and give her more time to enact step 3.
3. Run like hell, and pray that getting unexpectedly whacked in the back of the head stunned him long enough for her to make a clean getaway, since he would presumably be coming down here alone.
4. Make good use of her intangibility to escape and haul ass to the Resting Grounds as fast as possible, putting all her ninja skills to good use in avoiding detection from basically everyone, since she could trust basically no one to not rat her out if the king put a bounty on her head or some shit like that.
She operated under the KISS method of planning. It was an acronym that stood for ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid.’
But then again, no plan survived contact with the enemy.
This was going to suck, wasn't it?

Summary
Two vessels, two timelines, two chances.
In one universe, the Pale King's foresight shows him the past. In another, it shows him the future. This difference causes a butterfly effect no one could have predicted. In one universe, a Vessel lives, and everything proceeds as it has been: completely FUBAR. In another, a Vessel is killed, another is born, and the situation is still completely FUBAR, but for a completely different set of reasons.
EDIT: FOYN (AKA Fyn) here to clarify, both our stories share a root universe and a lot of their lore, but things do diverge, with growingCataclysm's story taking place in my AU. So, NSBV is an AU of an AU essentially. growingCataclysm's story starts somewhere during NSHK 20th chapter, but events began to diverge in the background of NSBV before then. Not all lore elements are the same, though they are similar.
Our stories do not interact with each other otherwise, and though NSHK does not strictly need to be read in order to understand NSBV, it does provide a lot of the background details and some context. NSHK is completely independent from NSBV and will not be interacting with the plotline of NSBV, aside from maybe an easter-egg or cameo Stan-Lee-style.

Summary
This series contains both the old and re-written versions of my fic Among Us, a [PROTOTYPE] and MCU crossover featuring a male OC-insert as Alex Mercer with dubious morals. Story focuses on the stealth and deception capabilities that were barely scratched at in the games. Weird things have happened to the OC, and now they have powers that even the canon Alex Mercer didn't have. He doesn't quite know what's going on with his weirdo eldritch viral self, but he's going to use everything in his arsenal to utterly dominate and eliminate any threats against his own person or that of his friends. Fuck playing fair. When the deck is this stacked against you in the form of an omnicidal purple maniac who simps for Death, you play dirty pool.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
