"Sorry, are you talking to me?" Jayce asked, spinning around to face the woman.
"Who else? How dare you leave your exhausted and disabled partner to pick his cane up off the floor!" The woman all but yelled, motioning wildly with her hands.
"Huh?-" Jayce took a step back, his expression going from confused to exasperated. "I promise you he's fine-"
Viktor appeared back at Jayce's side, having gathered his cane. One glance at Viktor's smug expresion told Jayce he'd been set up.
"Viktor! You've got to stop doing this!"
