Uzumaki. Sasuke let the name circle in his head. He thought about it. His brain, usually so sharp and analytical, suddenly took a completely different, almost embarrassingly childish direction.
Red, he thought.
When he thought of the color red, Sasuke usually thought of tomatoes.
He loves tomatoes.
They were his absolute favorite food, whether freshly sliced, in a soup, or dried. And as he thought of this girl's hair - this bright, shining, silky hair that almost seemed to move in the light, he had to think of a perfect, sun-ripened tomato. It wasn't a dull, dry red. It was full, vibrant, and somehow attractive.
He wondered if it felt just as soft as it looked.
He should have simply remained curious.
