Summary
Poison never had any of the potential their teachers and parents thought they had. Sure, they may seem cool and collected but it was never really true. Cracks start to show, however, once they start high school and their parents have had enough of it.
The scene changed rapidly once they die in a car crash, Kobra getting injured and disabled for maybe all of his life.
Poison can't allow themselves to be self destructive anymore; they must make it up to their baby brother and take responsibility for once in their life.
They get a job, losing that one and getting another, and as the years progress things get more and more hectic, yet somehow calmer than they were. Poison works vigorously to maintain their relationships, and even finding a new one in a crowded party corner.

Or: Poison's got a little too silly and was punished by God. Now they are the legal guardian of their little brother and must work to find themselves in this world, finding allies in unlikely places.

Summary
The sounds of fries sizzling blend in with the white noise, the smell permeating the stuffy air as a bell rings. The cook slides a tray of burgers and chips across the counter that Kian quickly scoops up, striding over to his table.
The garish red leather of the booths assault Kian’s vision, and a bead of sweat rolls down the side of his neck, his uniform sticking to his back. The aircon’s busted and the blonde feels like he’s gonna die of heat exhaustion if he has to deal with this any longer.

Or; after bugpocalypse, Rolan, Kian and Rand move across the country to Rolan's apartment, and try to get things back to normal, only problem being that things aren't that easy. Kian doesn't know how the news of what happened at Galloway hasn't hit the mainstream, but he's so focused on keeping himself and his friends safe that he doesn't pay it any mind. Maybe he should.

“Hold still—” slender fingers tugged through secondaries, attempting to lay flat the anxious feathers. “Could you stop shaking? For maybe, two seconds??” Another tug through the clumped and matted feathers left the entirety of Ranboo’s left wing twitching out of his already loose grip, sending a scattering of black and white brittle feathers down onto the tiled floor of the bathroom.
As much as Ranboo wanted to yell or scream or cry in that moment, he forced himself to take a deep breath in, steading his shaking frame by leaning against the bathroom counter. All he had to do was remind himself that it was his fault he left his wings to preen in the morning rather than powering through the painful process the night before. He would be fine, he just had to calm himself down.
The white knuckle grip the 15 year old had on the counter top loosened as he finally brought his chin up to look in the mirror.

Ranboo brushes a thumb over his memory book, the knowledge of Tubbo's entry still fresh in his mind from his quick recap on the way over.
Tubbo: Ex-president. Tommy's friend. Lives in Snowchester. Friend?
"You don't have to, I guess," Tubbo shrugs, rubbing his hands together for warmth. "Just a suggestion."
"You're sure you want me to live here?"
Tubbo frowns. "Why wouldn't I?"
"Well, I mean, we're... We're not exactly friends."
Tubbo's hand - the bad one, the one that's mostly scar tissue - twitches, and Ranboo can sense that he's said something wrong. "Are we not?"
