Summary
During the quiet stretch of the off-season, when the world slows and the rink sits nearly empty, Shane and Ilya make a life-changing decision, they become foster parents.
They expect paperwork, waiting, and time to prepare. Instead, they get three children that same night.
Logan, Kaitlyn, and Maggie arrive with everything they own in trash bags and more weight on their shoulders than any child should carry. What follows is their journey of learning how to comfort, navigate anger, and how to build trust with kids who have only ever known instability.

Summary
For eleven years, NHL rivals Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have kept their intense romance completely hidden from the world. Safe only in the quiet corners of their private lives—and under the protective wing of Shane’s sister, Caitlin—they’ve navigated the heavy cost of living a secret. Caitlin has spent years holding their world together, putting her own life on pause to shield the two men she loves most.
When charismatic Centaurs player Dean De Laurentis crashes into Caitlin’s orbit, she decides it’s finally time to do something for herself. What begins as a strictly casual escape quickly spirals into something deeper, threatening to shatter the careful boundaries she’s built. But when a viral mistake unexpectedly outs Shane and Ilya to the entire world, the fragile walls protecting all of them crumble at once.
Facing immense league pressure, hostile team dynamics, and the terror of absolute vulnerability, Shane and Ilya must choose whether to retreat into fear or stand together in the light. Heartfelt, fiery, and deeply emotional, this story explores the overwhelming cost of secrecy, the courage it takes to live authentically, and the healing power of a love that refuses to stay in the shadows.

Summary
Alina was drawing an enormous purple dog.
"Are there a lot of purple dogs around here?" Ilya asked.
Alina didn't look up from the drawing.
"No."
"Do you like purple?"
Once again, a one-word answer. "It's ok."
"I see. So the dog is ok."
"It's not a dog. It's a wolf."
"A purple wolf? I've never seen one."
The little girl flushed with irritation. "The brown one is dead."
"Lucky me. Otherwise I never would have seen my new favorite animal. The purple wolf."
Alina didn't answer.
"What do purple wolves eat? Yellow sheep?" Ilya asked.
The little girl looked up from the page and fixed Ilya with an intensity that made him uncomfortable. "Where is my brother?"Ilya Rozanov gets a call from Russia: his brother has been arrested, and Ilya is the legal guardian of two children: his six-year-old niece Alina, and a baby nephew, Ivan, he didn't know existed. Ilya never planned on being anyone's father. He has no idea he's about to become the kind he never had.

Summary
After his second Stanley Cup win Shane goes out to celebrate with his team. Later that night, drunk and horny, he texts Ilya and invites him to visit Montreal for the week. Ilya, against his better judgment, eventually agrees.
Or: what if Shane (slightly accidentally) made a safe enough space for them to talk and share a full year earlier and no one needed to have a tuna meltdown.

Summary
“What the fuck are we going to wear?” He asked. Shane shrugged.
“I mean, I was just gonna wear sweats if we’re just hanging around here tonight.”
“No, I mean what are we going to wear on Drag Race?”
“Oh, I don’t know. They dress pretty fancy on that show, so…my suit, I guess?” Shane met Ilya in the doorway to the closet and scanned their wardrobe. He spotted his suit in the back of the closet, taking it off the rack and showing it to Ilya. Incidentally, it had been the suit he had embarrassingly almost worn to their first hookup. Ilya groaned.
“Shane! You can’t wear that boring suit! You have to look more fashionable than that. We have to go balls to the wall!”
“Once again, I regret teaching you that phrase.” But Shane supposed Ilya was right. If there were ever a safe place to try something new, Drag Race was the place to do it. “But, uh, okay. What if I, like, added a colorful pocket square or something?” Ilya stared at Shane blankly for a few seconds.
“Oh my god, Hollander. You are so much more boring than I thought.”
