You check your bank account—your rent's already paid for this month, so at least you're set there, and you even have enough left for a drink or two. What else are you going to spend it on? If you don't get a new job soon, that won't do much to improve your prospects and there are very few things that you need more than a stiff drink right now. Your phone says that there's a bar near your apartment, but there's no website and the latest review is from seven years ago and only says, "Dirty. Bad service. Too many bikers."
