Christmas: Sixth year.
The Death Eaters attacked not only the Burrow, but Hermione's home as well.
Richard, her father, was killed and Helen, her mother, was left with too much information about a world that was too dangerous.
Hermione refused to obliviate her only remaining parent, though she did beg her mother to leave.
Only after Dumbledore's death, did Helen agree.For her own safety, Helen Granger has left the U.K. and started over in the Pacific Northwest.
Perhaps small town life will do her good.
Perhaps her newfound friends on the Quileute Reservation will help her get better.
And perhaps the Chief of Police will be the best thing she finds. -
