“Ah, silly me, I nearly forgot. Equipment: AR, standard issue; mortar, also standard issue; and last but not least, your favorite: polearm, Electro, building-leveling. As for the environment: -4 °C, light flurry, be cautious of ice. And finally, enemies: well, let's just say it's nothin' you can't handle!”
“Very well. That is all.” It begins the same old routine it's been doing for as long as it remembers—pushing the ignition column into the center console and cranking it clockwise, plugging the long, tickling prongs of the neuro man-machine marriage band into the nape of its neck, securing the auto-injector to its left, outer thigh, and finally doing an equipment diagnosis. The cockpit begins to glow in all manner of pink and purple shades as it returns to life once again. Steam hisses from the mech's outer vents, the engine roars. Its spine begins to tingle as its mind merges with the towering weapon. “Beelzebul online. All systems nominal.”

Summary
In a quiet town, one stormy evening, a teenage boy brutally meets his demise. This is not the first time this town has had to discover the charred remains of some unfortunate child blown to bits across its streets. Years ago, several lives were taken in a very similar manner. Struck down by the will of Celestia itself, the people claimed. Indeed, only someone who holds a Vision could have painted carnage like that. The same must hold true for whoever responsible for this latest tragedy.
Enter Jean Gunnhildr, a detective in the Vision-Related Crimes Division of the local police department, and Shikanoin Heizou, a nosy private investigator who has personally hired himself while visiting this lovely town on vacation.
Just as this grisly, new killing begins to rock the small town, a seemingly average family of four move there from far away. While the parents and their eldest child adjust quickly to their new home, the youngest, Raiden Ei, struggles dearly.
To make matters even worse for Ei, Yae Miko, a persistent girl, is intent on getting them both in trouble as she attempts to cure her boredom and sate her curiosity.

For an alluring, young woman like Miko, it would be no difficult task to accomplish, but things are never as easy as they seem. Ei's two children will ensure that.

“I. Am. Pregnant,” Ei states once more, carefully enunciating each syllable for her wife.
Miko gestures wildly as she collects her thoughts, but the only word she manages to wheeze out of her throat is, “How?!”
Scratching the back of her head, Ei does her best to explain. “Well, in order to simultaneously combat both my dysphoria, while creating a more authentic experience for the Shogun, when I was reforging this body into the perfect puppet… I added a few additions.”
“... And got rid of some of its best features,” Miko mumbles under her breath.

Both of them walk toward each other with poorly hidden excitement. When they're inches apart, Miko grabs hold of both Ei’s hands and sighs, “So what even brings you here at this time of the night?”
Ei pulls her arms back and drags Miko into her. As they gently collide, the priestess lets go and her god quickly wraps her arms around Miko’s shoulders to hug her. “I missed you.”
Miko hides her reddening face into her lover’s neck and huffs, “Is that really it? Am I truly the only thing in the world that can pull you from your own lonesome shelters?”
Soft lips press against the kitsune’s head lovingly. “Truly, just you, my love.”
One night, Ei visits Miko and they spend some quality time together.

Miko gladly climbed inside and greeted Ei, “Well good evening to you too, Ei, I never took you as the hard-to-wake type. Do you have any idea how long my poor claw was even tapping for?” The kitsune held up a finger towards Ei, “Kiss it better?”
The kagemusha leaned in closer to the kitsune to take a better look. Upon her expert inspection, she deduced that the finger was in perfectly fine condition, however Miko proved to be a difficult one to say no to. In a barely audible whisper Ei finally spoke up, “Miko, why did you journey all the way from the shrine to wake me?” Ei didn’t mention the potential dangers the other could have faced on such a journey at night, yet the stammer in her voice implied her concern.
The finger was pushed closer to Ei’s face, when she looked past it, she realized Miko was staring her down with the saddest puppy dog eyes in the world. The shrine maiden whimpered pathetically when they made eye contact. Quickly glancing away, Ei compromised, “Answer me first, please…”
A hopeless romantic, whose entire knowledge of love comes from cliche romance novels, and a shut-in body double, whose hobbies include sparring and blacksmithing, go on their first date together.

Summary
About two hours pass until Miko finally returns with two shrine maidens. Not only does it look like they just robbed a hospital, but a candy store as well. As the three of them haul their items closer to Ei, she notices that Miko is only carrying two drinks and nothing more.
“That is all I needed from you two, thank you for the much needed assistance. Now, begone and remember not to mention a word of this to anyone…or else,” Miko shoos them away with barely any genuine gratitude. The exhausted shrine maidens bow deeply in silence and quickly scuttle out of the room in a slight panic. As if they never existed, Miko focuses her full attention back to Ei, who’s now clearly looking lost, “Sorry for how long it took, I might have gotten carried away, but you’re already well aware that when it’s your health on the line only the best will do, Ei.”

In classic Ei fashion, Ei is injured in a fight, and she relies on Miko for aid. Just like the good ol' days. -

She chants, “if I may plead for your mercy once more and have you pardon my unquenchable bloodlust, my fair lady, my ever divine bolt of lightning that strikes a guiding fury down my path of righteousness, my Ei.”
Despite the fox's common use of bizarre pet names, Ei purses her lips to the side as a faint pinkness spreads across her face. “Oh h-hush up, you dramatic fox,” she stammers as the rest of her body effortlessly betrays her faux scorn. Regaining her elegance, Ei commands Miko to rise and ushers the kitsune into her room. “Come now, my knight, I’ll draw a bath for you.”
Usually, Miko follows Ei’s command without either a complaint or question. There is almost always sass though.

The knightly Yae Miko proudly drops off an assassin she's been hunting for days at her beloved Princess Raiden Ei's doorstep one day, although Ei seems more concerned about Miko than the person lying between them. She decides the best possible way to handle this situation is scrub her knight clean. -
