It takes all of Armand's remaining willpower not to choke on his coffee. “You really think you can make that work? Do you even understand what you’re asking him to commit to? You can’t. You’re going to break his heart.”
If anything’s consistent, it’s surely Lestat’s ability to misread situations, and Louis’ tendency to own a bleeding heart, even at the worst of times.The whole story (or most of it) from the perspective of two outside participants.

It’s lots of wordy crap anyway, gonna be a while before your little brain can process any of that stuff.” There’s a particularly long auburn curl that coils smack in the middle of Theo’s forehead. When Daniel plays with it, Theo squeals, squirms, and grabs desperately to grab onto his finger. “Now, I may have a helluva head start on you, but you’ll catch up. Lots of people to meet, things to know. No rush. You’ll get there. And some of it’s kind of messed up, so. Maybe for the best I just teach you the basics. Some of those chapters aren’t so nice, and I had a rough few years there in the middle.”

I'm soft for vampires being sweet, playing house, raising kids. Here's a consistent (enough) concept of a few of those kids existing in the same timeline together. Right now mostly very Armand/Daniel heavy. Will add pieces when I can manage to finish them. (Marked as a complete series bc idk how long it'll actually end up being.)

“Is it all the same?”
Her words bounce around the vast space of the cargo hold, filled to the brim with thousands upon thousands of wooden crates—
“Yeah.”
—All filled with the same goddamn thing.
(Mouthwash. A warehouse worth of fucking mouthwash.)
Sophia exhales heavily, sinking down amongst her swath of open crates and gripping the edge of the one she’d just searched; the wood bites into the palm she can still feel, and the uneven chipboard snags on her coveralls as her knees press into the side.
Daryl, somewhere to her left looking through another palette for something—anything—different, tosses one of the bottles haphazardly back into its pile, the plastic making a dull orchestra as it bounces in its crate.
“Least our breath won’t stink anymore.”
