Summary
The status quo has been broken. Merlin, disguised as Emrys, has stepped from the shadows, and the ripples of that event are spreading across Camelot. Agravaine secretly scrambles to turn this to his advantage before Morgana’s deadline, even as Arthur grapples with an inconceivable notion: that a sorcerer has not only saved his life, but wishes to offer his fealty as well. As for Merlin, the opportunity to take a new path to a better future lies before him… or at least another version of him. Can “Emrys” succeed where Merlin once failed? He certainly means to do whatever it takes to make it so.

This changed how I see immortal Merlin in my mind since I read it.
