Crowley grimaces. "Nhnnnnggg, ok, alright. But, hear me out." They flick a hand dramatically. "An angel! A being who can make Holy water! Even if I can keep the whole human disguise thing up, what if they, I don't know . . . want me baptised?"
Dagon stares at Crowley blankly for a second before handing them the assignment kit. "You’ll start tomorrow. The address is highlighted, if you get lost and have to call me for directions I will direct you through at least three traffic jams."

New York City. December 1942.
Crowley is grateful for the work, really, she is. She loves playing the piano at Luke Rossetti's club, loves watching Angel taking command of the room, loves sneaking around together in the dressing room when no one is looking. But Luke is a dangerous man, and he has his eye on Angel. And Crowley would never, ever let anything happen to her.

Summary
[Aziraphale] had just turned the page when he heard it. A soft but distinct thud-thump. Thud-thump. Thud-thump. Clearly coming from the machine Crowley had used.
At first he tried to ignore it. It was probably just the machine making machine-sounds. Nothing to be alarmed about. Right? But what if it wasn’t? What if Crowley had dropped something in there along with his laundry? A wallet perhaps? Or a mobile phone?
When Crowley saunters into a flat in Aziraphale's building, Aziraphale tells himself he's keeping an eye out for the man out of friendly neighbourliness, and not because he wants to ogle a cute arse in tight clothes. But when something goes awry with Crowley's laundry, Aziraphale is the only one around to save the day (or at least, Crowley's clothes). What he finds shocks him, but maybe it's just the invitation he needs to begin something new.

Will these two ever figure it out, or is Crowley doomed to a life of pining? A 5+1-style fic with a whole lot of fluff and intentionally minimal angst. Rated M for the first few chapters, but will be upgraded to E if Crowley ever gets his way…
