Though most Recruited Darkners had found themselves homes and by now would be snoozing away, some remained awake as they struggled to get more adjusted to their new dwelling. Rouxls Kaard, was one of those darkeners. So on this particular night, Rouxls was shocked to hear a knock on the door, well past midnight. And he'd be even more shocked if he knew who was on the other side of the door.
