“It’s a long story.” I groaned. “Basically…” Faendal had to pause in eating after the second time he choked at something I said. “And then the Jarl gave me a house and named me Thane?” The man stared at me for a long moment. “I left you alone for less than half the day. How on Nirn…?” His disbelief was a fair reaction. I didn’t know how it ended up this way either and so I just shrugged helplessly. “Sigrid was right to be worried.” I slumped further into my chair at that.

Summary
We are the past, the present, and the future, written all at once. Our phases of ‘time’ are simultaneous. Time gives tense to our realities and creates a universal understanding of events and their causes and effects; thus, this is how we perceive the world. This is what an Elder Scroll is, a glimpse into an arbitrary point of all pasts, presents, and futures dependent on the player.
So, what happens when the player, wakes up inside the game for real? Olivia has woken up inside a video game, armed with all the knowledge of the game, but none of the skills! Her survival in the harsh reality of Skyrim is at risk on an almost daily basis. She's thanking her lucky stars that a certain Akaviri powerhouse has sworn himself to be her sword and shield. With him by her side, she just might live to see the sunrise.
