Summary
“That’s weird, I haven’t seen wires like this before.” You murmur. You snatch up a flashlight, trying to get sight of hidden components and innumerable wires twisted through his chassis like veins. You probe through Connor’s thoracic cavity, trying to locate the faulty wire.
Unfortunately, after an encounter with a moving car, he had been damaged. Not severely; the car hadn't been moving ultra-fast, and the collision was narrow. But once Cyberlife heard of the accident, they were quick to declare that he should be decommissioned, and a replacement sent. Nonsense. You couldn’t see why they were so eager to waste a perfectly good machine such as Connor. All he needed were a few repairs. He would be good as new.
Fortunately, you were able to use a spare meeting room in the precinct as an unofficial repair room. Sure you were a detective, but you had some experience with machines, and had fixed up a few androids before. Connor couldn’t be too difficult to fix.

“As an automaton, I’m afraid I have no ability to improve my physical capabilities through movement or practice,” Torse responded, glancing to the side in a small tell of shyness.
“Spar with me anyways,” Max blurted out, standing quickly.

Summary
The survivor simply puts a hand on their hip and looks at him. He looks back for a moment, his yellow eyes glowing dimly in the dark office. The gumshoe then pinches the bridge of his nose. “You’re more like Ellie everyday, you know that?” His voice is light, a chuckle following his words.
“Alright, just be careful. I can’t have you rewiring my left hand to my right. Be real hard to be of any help if everythings backwards.”
“Har, har.” They roll their eyes gently and kneel down slowly. They feel along the seams of him carefully, thumbs gliding over the indents in his synthetic skin before they gently pry a panel open. They then lean back and search through Nick’s drawers, snagging a small handheld flashlight from it.

When she gets assigned to a case involving the Weasley twins (who, for the record, are repeat offenders and not half as charming, attractive, or witty as they think they are, thank you very much) that involves lust-inducing pixie venom, she gets a whole lot more than she bargained for, in the very best of ways.

If you find something black and white prohibiting us from using this particular type of venom, we’ll turn over our hypothetical supply.”
Hermione tucks her fingers, already twitching with the desire to dig into some texts, into her elbows. “And if I find nothing?”
He grins wolfishly. “We keep our supply. And you agree to help us with product development.”
