The laugh turned into a choked sob though as he was gently pulled towards the other. Let himself fall into his hold, legs crumpling beneath him as Minute gently lowered them both to the floor. He pressed his face against the other's suit, the fabric damp. A flinch as an explosion echoed close by, a reminder of what he'd done, of what he's doing.

Summary
It was just another ordinary day on their peaceful life. The morning was fairly quiet, with the village slowly coming to life around them.
Shopkeepers were opening their stalls, people carrying basket from one place to another, and the smell of freshly cooked food drifted through the crowd.
Parrot was walking through the village market with Wemmbu by his side, their hands firmly clasped together as they made their way through the crowd.
In his other hand, Parrot held a small piece of paper with a list of the things they needed to buy later. He glanced down at it every now and then, quietly going over everything in his head.
While that.. Wemmbu actually noticed.. Two weeks later.. It's gonna be

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”
